Temple of the Forbidden Eye – VR Recreation (Unity / Meta Quest)
With a longstanding interest in theme park design, I set out to recreate a classic Disneyland attraction in virtual reality as a personal passion project. I chose Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye, a ride that blends cinematic storytelling with immersive environmental design inspired by Raiders of the Lost Ark and the larger Indiana Jones universe.
Over several years, I developed this project in Unity for the Meta Quest headset. I assembled a small team of game developers to assist with character modeling, animation, and implementation of the game manager system that drives the VR experience.
This project was an exploration of translating physical ride design into an interactive virtual environment, studying pacing, spatial storytelling, and environmental immersion in a VR 3D space.
