Math Blaster – Brand Relaunch (JumpStart Games)
While at JumpStart Games, I helped relaunch the Math Blaster character for a new online MMO iteration of the franchise. As Art Lead, I directed the visual redesign of the brand and guided the team in developing a cohesive art direction for both character creation and environment design.
Our goal was to modernize the brand while preserving the recognizable identity that longtime players associated with Math Blaster. This required balancing legacy visual elements with updated proportions, materials, and stylistic choices suited for an online multiplayer experience.

As Math Blaster expanded to console platforms, we launched "Math Blaster: in the Prime Adventure" on the Nintendo DS. The DS hardware supported both 3D and pixel-based workflows, and I was responsible for designing pixel art spacecraft for the Blaster Corps as well as multiple enemy boss ships.
Working within the technical constraints of the DS, I focused on silhouette clarity, readable animations, and distinct faction identity. Below are several of the ship concepts I created, many of which were developed during production but ultimately did not make it into the final game.
